Supply of medicine
Most medicines are dispensed during consultations and after examinations by the veterinary surgeon. Current legislation requires us to carry out regular re-examinations to confirm the usefulness of the medication, the accuracy of the dosage and the absence of any significant side effects.
Most long term conditions will require a veterinary re-examination at no more than 3 month intervals, but this will always be an individual judgement of your veterinary surgeon.
Please telephone your surgery to order any repeat medicines. We would ask for 48 hours notice to ensure that the medicines are in stock and available for collection.
Lynton House Veterinary Group is able to provide written prescriptions on request but will require at least 48 hours notice. Please also note that there is a charge for this service.
Call our surgeries to order any repeat medicines. One of our Reception team will be happy to check the availability and cost of any item.
Food and Accessories
Most foods and a variety of pet supplies such as cat litter, dog collars and beds etc can be ordered through reception, for collection from the Practice. If you order before 4pm we would usually expect delivery of the item(s) to the Practice by 4pm the following day.
